Dr. Sahaniadou Maria maintains a private health care office on Ptolemaion Street 7, in the city of Drama. She collaborates with private clinics in both Drama and Thessaloniki. She holds specialization in Head and Neck Ultrasound and is an active member of the **Health Committee of KEPA (Disability Certification Center).

The doctor was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She graduated with honors from the 4th General High School of Evosmos. In 2011, she graduated from the Faculty of Science, Department of Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2016, she graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina. As part of her specialization in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), she was initially placed at the B’ Surgical Clinic of Drama General Hospital (2016-2017) and then at the otolaryngology clinic (2017-2018). She completed her specialty at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki G. Gennimatas (2018-2021).

She holds a Master's degree titled “Variations of the Spheno-Palatine Artery”, which she obtained from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a grade of “Excellent 9.6/10”.

Additionally, she has specialized expertise in **Head and Neck Ultrasound and Elastography**, as well as in **Ultrasound-guided Interventional Procedures**. In 2024, she underwent advanced training and was certified in Head and Neck Ultrasound by Professor K. Georgios Psychogios ([https://orlpsychogios.gr](https://orlpsychogios.gr)) at the University General Hospital of Ioannina, which ranks her among the few ENT specialists in Greece with certified proficiency in the use of Head and Neck Ultrasound accredited by the Ministry of Health.

As part of her continuous education, she attended a seminar on Endoscopic Nasal and Paranasal Sinus Surgery (FESS) organized by the ERS – Rhinodays_2022.

Additionally, she holds a certification in aesthetic interventions for Botox and Hyaluronic Acid through the Botox & Fillers course, Omnipress 2022.

Her presence is active and ongoing at national and international conferences, and she has authored articles in international scientific journals.

She is married to Dr. Dimitrios Maskanakis (Orthopedic Surgeon – Patriarchou Dionysiou 1, Drama), with whom she has one daughter.
